ME 406L - Robotics Laboratory II

This laboratory course focuses on the real-time software and computer hardware control of robotic systems necessary for senior detailed design. Differential drive mobile robots and multi-degree of freedom robotic manipulators are analyzed with a particular emphasis on servo motors and associated controllers. The hardware platforms used in this course are the LEGO MINDSTORM EV3 programmable brick and the DENSO HS-45452E/GM SCARA manipulator. The MATLAB® scripting language and the C/C++ programming language will be extensively used for robot modelling and control.
