ME 400 - Vibrations and Acoustics

The main purpose of this course is to develop in the engineering student the ability to analyze problems involving mechanical vibrations and structural dynamics. This requires presenting a rigorous mathematical model approach that not only permits efficient formulations and solutions but also enhances the understanding of the physical problem. Emphasis is placed on methods lending themselves to computer implementation using Mathematica®, Matlab®, and CATIA®.
